History of TLI
TLI has been in existence for more than a half a century. We have trained students from around the world to use Mandarin Chinese in there jobs, and travels. Over the years we have trained and employed countless teachers, all of whom are of the highest quality and most gifted ability. Our unique teaching method， together with our top level teachers combine to create the strongest of foundation upon which TLI has grown. TLI has grown to have branches all over the world, including Japan, China, United States, and Canada with multiple branches in most of these countries, 16 branches in all. TLI plays an essential role in bridging the communication between the Eastern and Western culture. We will continue to operate in this way, far into the future by helping people from each side learn to navigate the language and culture gaps.
Beijing Yansha School’s Teaching Resources and System
Yansha school currently has more than 50 teachers that all come from the top universities in China like Beijing University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Capital Normal University, etc. These teachers all come form different majors and specialties ranging from Economics to Literature. Thirty percent of our teachers have over 5 or more years of teaching experience with many over 10 years expereinc. Because our teachers all come from such a wide range of schools and majors, we are able to meet all of the needs of our students.
Although we feel our teachers are all of top quality, we still continue to improve. We have a team in place whose purpose is to research and learn the latest methods of teaching and ways that we can improve the classroom experience. This team can assemble a study plan for each individual student, taking into account the student’s current level of study, desired area of focus, length of planned study and desired goals. Furthermore, we can design these study plans to help a student focus on a certain area of study, for instance, an emphasis on foreign affairs for embassy workers or focus on the HSK proficiency exam for business people. We can not only arrange the study material but the best teachers for each of these areas. We have curriculum that focuses on nearly every area of interest; policy, economics, culture, daily life, news and all of this is in addition to our general Mandarin study curriculum that is second to none. Our main objective is to put a student in the position to achieve all of their desired study goals and we have all of these tools to help make that happen.
