- Modern Chinese Cross-Strait Dictionary
This dictionary is a good tool to help understand not only the meanings of Chinese words but also reflects the different meanings that words can have in Taiwan and Mainland China. It is mainly for use by intermediate to advanced level readers who are looking to study or work in both Taiwan and Mainland China. It gives descriptive, common, and practical definitions that are easy to use. Each entry shows how it is written, pronounced and then lists objective differences between the meanings (according to Taiwan and Mainland China), without stating which meanings are right or wrong. This dictionary provides a convenient way for overseas Chinese students to learn as well as for people from Taiwan or Mainland China to learn to communicate better.- New Practical Chinese
These books are suitable for beginning students. These two books contain 24 chapters that begin from simple pronunciation. At the end of every five chapters there is a review of those five chapters and that is followed by a small test. This helps the teacher discover weak areas that the student may have and fill in the missing information. At the end of these two books, the student will have studied about 900 vocabulary words and more than 70 grammar points. They will have learned basic conversational skills and will have a basic understanding of how to use the written language.- Intermediate Chinese Dialogues

Book 1 is set up to begin studying once you finish the first 12 chapters of the Practical Chinese books. When these books are used in conjunction with the Practical Chinese and Intermediate Dialogue books the student will have a more complete understanding of the spoken and written language. Each character in Book 1 is introduced with stroke order and definitions as well as common usages and is then followed by a short story that uses the vocabulary of that and preceding chapters. Book 2 is more advanced and does not give you stroke order but still gives definition and common examples.
